PJ Anderer
Archaeologist
A Maryland native, PJ arrived in California in 2018 to begin a career in archaeology. Primarily focused on working on the Mendocino National Forest, other assignments have taken him to Lassen, Tahoe, El Dorado, Klamath, and Cleveland National Forests.
His previous experience includes a volunteer dig, searching for evidence of the 1812 War in Baltimore. All this builds on a solid GIS foundation gained while studying at Penn State University.
Outside of work PJ’s interests are hiking, trail running, kayaking, visiting museums, and attending concerts.
