Laura Seefeldt
Botanist
Laura’s love for botany and watershed sciences started in the upper Midwest where she grew up. For the past decade she has worked for various vegetation monitoring programs and plant ecology-based projects through the Forest Service, non-profit organizations, and universities. Having worked for a long-term stream and riparian monitoring program, she developed a strong passion for understanding channel morphology changes, fish habitat and riparian plant communities. Laura is excited to join the Tuolumne River Trust, where watershed, river, and forest health are highly integrated.
