Be a voice for the Tuolumne River Regional Park!
TRT is the voice for the river and riverside communities in Modesto, and our Central Valley team is making waves by shaping the Tuolumne River Regional Park’s (TRRP) Master Plan. Ride the current with us: We need your voice too!
The Tuolumne River Regional Park (TRRP) is going through a Master Plan update. This dynamic and comprehensive plan will guide leaders to conserve and improve the park over the next ten to twenty years. Over the past three years, our Central Valley staff and Park Youth Committee teams have played a big part by engaging Modesto community members and collecting neighborhood visions for the TRRP.
Now it’s your turn! Although the February 12 TRRP Commission meeting was cancelled due to lack of quorum, join us for the next TRRP Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) meeting on Wednesday, March 19th: 12-2pm to share your vision for riverside parks in Modesto. TRT’s Central Valley Program Director, Hilary Moak, will also be there, presenting a letter to the Commissioners highlighting this strong community support while demonstrating how a flourishing riverside park will support Modesto’s climate goals and community calls for environmental justice!
